Our Vision Program focuses on the following pillars:
Community Eye Health Education
We educate the community on eye health and eye hygiene. Some of the communities we go to do not have access to a doctor, much less an eye doctor. By focusing on health education, we aim to prevent infections before they happen. By creating a greater awareness of eye health and hygiene and provide basic community health education, our goal is to have happy and healthier communities.
Building Eyeglass Distribution Networks
We aim to build a distribution network of social entrepreneurs, nurses and opticians to better serve the needs of these communities better. By distributing low cost glasses in small towns and cities and providing training for opticians, we aim to provide a livelihood while serving a need. We actively sponsor the training of nurses and opticians as well to help develop the eye care infrastructure in these areas further.
